Materials:
1 large roasting pan
1 small garden pump
1 foot of rubber tube (to connect to the pump)
2 tall and thinner tupperware containers that you can cut
We have tripled this recipe from the Garden of vegan Cookbook:
1 cup of margarine
1/2 cups of flour
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 water
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp jam
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup dry sweetener
2 egg equivalent of egg replacer (we use flaxseed meal)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup of soymilk
Chocolate Sauce:
1 cup of agave
1/2 cup of brown rice
1/2 cup of maple syrup
2-4 cups of chocolate sauce
1/2 cup of cocoa powder
Process
Preheat the oven to 325. In a sauce pan melt your chocolate chips, water, margarine, cocoa, and jam together, stirring often. Sift all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the chocolate mixture, oil, and soymilk and mix together until they are “Just mixed”. pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
To build housing for the mount take one tupperware dish and cut a large hole in the bottom and then cut it in half. Take the other (hopefully pretty tall) container and cut a hole the size of your rubber tube in the bottom, then cut a have circle out of each side of it at the top (so the when you flip it over t sauce will flow into the container). Set the garden pump in the center of the roaster, then connect the tube to the pump. and feed it through the hole in the taller container. This container becomes a housing for the pump. Place each of the halves of the other containers against the tall container where you cut the half circles out. This will allow sauce to flow into the pump.
Now that the housing is built take large slice of cake and start building it up around the housing. It may get a bit messy and you will have to sort of force the cake into place around the casing. build the cake around the tube at the top of the mountain leaving the tube exposed to shoot out the chocolate sauce.
In a food processor blend up the ingredients for the chocolate sauce. Pour the sauce into the roaster pan until it completely cover the tops of the half containers (so it looks like nothing but a mote). turn the pump on and let the chocolate sauce fly. you should have some left over cake to dip in the sauce, if not just start eating the mountain.
