Recipe: Tofu Scramble

Recipe:
1 block of tofu (grated)
1 bunch of green onion
5 large carrots
2 small onions
2 red peppers
2-3 portabello mushrooms
1 bulb of garlic
maple syrup
2 chugs worth of beer
2 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 tbsp tumeric
1 tbsp paprika
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper
Process
Grate the tofu and chop up all the vegetables. Saute your garlic, onions, and spices. slowly add the tofu, carrots and peppers. Once the saute has been going for a while start throwing in any wild card ingredients you might like. We chose beer, BBQ sauce, and maple syrup. Once you’ve tossed those things in let it fry away until it brows up. In a separate pan saute your portabello mushroom in strips with balsamic vinegar, with garlic for the top of the scramble. Serve it up and enjoy.
